Comprehensive platform, good support

Our team recently implemented the Jive Interactive Intranet. The ordering process was straightforward after we had our demo, and the sales rep walked us through the different licensing options. Delivery of the service, meaning getting access and setting it up, took about two weeks, which was expected for an enterprise solution. We used their professional services for implementation, and they were very helpful, answering all our questions promptly. The platform itself, the Employee Engagement Software, is robust; the activity streams and news feeds are really improving our internal comms. We had a small hiccup with a custom theme, but customer support resolved it within a day. Overall, a solid experience.

How does Jive compare to Microsoft Viva? We're already heavy into the Microsoft ecosystem so wondering if Jive is even worth looking at.

That's a good question. Jive integrates with Microsoft 365, so it's not an either/or necessarily. Some people find Jive's community features more robust than Viva.

We actually switched from Viva to Jive because we found Jive's internal communication and knowledge sharing tools much better. Viva was okay but felt a bit disjointed for what we needed. Jive's AI stuff is also a step up.

We pay by invoice for our annual subscription. I think credit card is more for smaller stuff or trials, but a real enterprise account will have more options.
